Please read the event information for the Xmoor Sportive, 40, 60 and 100 mile. You will not receive any information in the post. Please pick up your race number and timing chip from the event HQ at the Manor Green in Lynmouth between 0630 and 0730
on the morning of the Event. It is a tough, challenging course so please ensure that you are fit enough to cycle it. All riders must be 18 or over to partake in
There will be mobile medics on the course. Riders are recommended to carry personal/ medical details on their person. It is the rider’s responsibility to check any health issues.
The area has a wide range of accommodation:
There are a number of toll roads on the course. Toll fees are covered so no need to carry any money for the boxes unless you want to make a donation. There will be two food and drinks stations along the course. Water and energy drinks will be provided for you to refill your water bottles. Please do not litter the course but use the bins provided. Event paparazzi will be capturing you at your best, so make sure you smile☺.
Please ensure that you have enough warm clothing for before and after the event. Headphones/ MP3s are banned and any riders wearing headphones at any point during the event will be asked to leave. We need you to be aware of your surroundings and able to listen to the marshals on the course. You must display your race number on the front of your bike with cable ties. Please ensure that it is fully visible and secure, as without it we will be unable to provide you with an official finish time.
PARKING AND FACILITIES
There are three car parks in Lynmouth and more parking in Lynton. All parking in Lynmouth is a very short walk to the event HQ and start. Please arrive
with enough time and car share where possible.
On finishing the event your time will be taken with
the time chip system. Times will be published on our website the following day. When returning to the car parks please take care of other riders, spectators and traffic that may be using the road.
The routes are all on public roads. Whilst most roads are relatively quiet there are some narrow sections
so please be mindful of cars, tractors and other road users. Local residents will be informed of the event, please do keep to the left hand side of the road at all times. Please always listen to the instructions of
